Enfants Riches Déprimés

Still relatively below the radar and therefore highly exclusive, 24-year-old Henry Levy's Enfants Riches Déprimés (translation: "Depressed Rich Kids") embodies grunge unisex fashion with the romanticization of cocaine, money, fame, and, of course, depression. Since the brand was founded in 2012, its appeal has taken hold with rap musicians in particular, who sport the signature destroyed pieces that feature hand-painted artwork and inspiration from known artists, like Cy Twombly. Levy (who refers to himself as Henri Alexander) also creates custom, one-of-a-kind leather pieces that make an example of his self-called "elitist, nihilist couture". The authenticity of the brand is showcased in the lifestyle of its designer and its select consumers.
