Designer Kenzo Takada inspired Paris with Japenese fashion beginning in 1970, and since then his vibrant jungle and floral themes have become the signature of the brand's collections. Opening Ceremony's Carol Lim and Humberto Leon took over Kenzo as creative directors in 2011, igniting a resurgence for the brand in the streetwear scene. The tiger and eye emblems are most recognizable among color-blocked designs, playful patterns, distinctive cuts, and loud prints and jacquards that bring a spontaneity and joy to traditional skate culture and Parisian street style.
